Understanding Pet Eggs

🥚

💡What Are Pet Eggs?

Pet Eggs are the primary way to obtain pets in Grow a Garden. They can be purchased from the Pet Egg Shop, which refreshes every 30 minutes, or obtained through different limited events and crafting. Each egg has specific hatch times and probabilities for different pets.

Hatching Process

Equip an egg from your inventory and place it on any space of your plot. Wait for it to hatch naturally or speed up the process with Robux or pets that reduce hatch time.

🎯Pet Probabilities

Each egg has different probabilities for various pets. Rarer eggs typically have better chances for rare pets, but also cost more and take longer to hatch.

How to Hatch Eggs

🏡

🌱Hatching Process

To hatch an egg, equip it from your inventory and place it on any space of your plot. The egg will automatically start hatching and you can monitor its progress. The process cannot be interrupted once started.

Speed Up Hatching

Use Robux to instantly hatch eggs, or use pets like Chickens, Roosters, Bald Eagle, or Blood Kiwis that decrease hatch time.

📦Multiple Eggs

You can hatch 3 eggs at a time minimum. Increase slots by buying in the shop with Robux or trading aged pets (up to 5 extra slots).

Important Notes

  • • Eggs cannot be gifted between players
  • • Hatching is required for most pets (exceptions: Panda and Blood Owl)
  • • The hatching process cannot be cancelled once started
  • • Some eggs are only available during specific events
