It is the first Divine pet to be released into the game.
When being held by the player, the Dragonfly is not in their hand, and rather few studs away from hand and has its head at ground. This is most likely a visual bug as the pet flies normally once placed.
The Dragonfly is one of the only two pets that can apply growth-variant mutations to plants. The second one being the Butterfly.
