- When the Elder Strawberry was initially released, it had a bug where players who bought the seed with Robux did not receive it. The developers temporarily changed for 999,999,999 Robux so that nobody would experience the bug until it got fixed.
- The Elder Strawberry previously had a bug where it did not warn the player before shoveling the plant, despite it being prismatic.
- The fruit of the Elder Strawberry glows for a few seconds when a player touches it while the fruit is still on the plant. The only other plants to do this are the Moonglow and the Gleamroot.
